Facilities
The Northeast Harbor Fleet is located at 48 South Shore Road, a shoreline property to Gilpatricks Cove. The facilities consist of the Fleet House, four floating docks, and the Captain's Shack out of which the Fleet’s launch service runs.
The Fleet's facilities are shared by the Northeast Harbor Sailing School, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing sailing instruction to the summer and year-round residents of Mount Desert Island.
Also connected with the Fleet is the Clifton Dock Corporation, a fueling facility and cruising station located in Northeast Harbor.
The Fleet House holds a conference room for race committee meetings, a large stone fireplace and lounge, the Fleet manager’s and the operations manager’s offices, a small galley kitchen, and sliding French doors with a view onto the Fleet dock and Gilpatricks Cove.
