RACING
Throughout the summer months the Northeast Harbor Fleet hosts a number of races and events along the scenic Mount Desert Island coast. The Fleet boasts the largest International One-Design fleet in the world with 26 boats. In addition, the Fleet hosts weekly spinnaker and non-spinnaker races for a similar number of PHRF-rated cruising class boats. MOORINGS
With sizable mooring fields in both Gilpatricks Cove and Northeast Harbor, the Northeast Harbor Fleet and Clifton Dock Corporation have a variety of mooring sizes and locations available for rent to both members and non-members. Fleet members may rent a mooring in Gilpatricks Cove. Licensed launch operators are available to ferry Fleet members to and from boats moored within the Gilpatricks Cove mooring field. The launch service traditionally runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days per week from July 1st through Labor Day Weekend.
Both members and non-members may rent moorings in nearby Northeast Harbor. No launch service operates out of the Clifton Dock Corporation gas dock in Northeast Harbor, however, mooring renters may keep tenders at a small float nearby.

LAUNCH SERVICE
The Northeast Harbor Fleet’s launch service is provided out of Gilpatricks Cove. Licensed launch operators are available to ferry Fleet members to and from boats moored within the Gilpatricks Cove mooring field. The launch service traditionally runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days per week from July 1st through Labor Day Weekend. Launch operators can be reached via VHF radio on channel 65.
A second mooring field is located in nearby Northeast Harbor, extending from the Clifton Dock Corporation’s gas dock, however no launch service is available there.
